Oova differs from both Clearblue's Ovulation and Menopauses tests in what hormones we measure and how we measure them. Oova differs from Clearblue in multiple ways:
- More hormone measuring: Oova measures LH, PdG (a progesterone metabolite), and E3G (an estrogen metabolite, while Clearblue monitors follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
- Quantitative measuring: Clearblue is a threshold test, whereas Oova is not. Oova provides quantitative values for each hormone (out to two decimal places). Since we quantitatively measure the hormones, every test is personalized, rather than compared to a standard. We can detect fluctuations in each woman’s hormones by comparing them to her baseline.
- Predictive measuring: We have a machine learning algorithm on the backend that gets smarter with every piece of information collected.
- Connect with your doctor: We enable a woman’s doctor to view her hormone levels through our dashboard in real-time.
